Terms of Service
Effective date: October 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the HSIM web application and mobile apps (the "Service") operated by Healing Solutions and Integrative Medicine, LLC ("HSIM", "we", "us").
1. Acceptance of terms
By signing in to or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Authorized use
HSIM is a private platform. Accounts are provided by invitation to HSIM staff and providers. Patients and their authorized representatives may access intake and consent forms only through links HSIM sends them. You may use the Service only for HSIM business purposes you are authorized to perform.
The HSIM application is intended exclusively for authorized HSIM employees, contractors, and healthcare providers who are 18 years of age or older. Access is by invitation only.
3. User accounts and account security
- Keep your sign-in credentials confidential and do not share your account.
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Notify HSIM promptly at support@hsim.org if you suspect unauthorized access.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
4. Healthcare-related use
The Service supports scheduling, visit, mileage, payroll, messaging and intake workflows. It is not an electronic health record and does not provide medical advice. Clinical documentation belongs in HSIM's electronic health record. Handle patient information only as your role and applicable law permit.
5. No emergency services
The Service is not monitored for emergencies. In an emergency call 911, contact the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or go to the nearest emergency department.
6. User responsibilities and prohibited misuse
You agree not to:
- Access information you are not authorized to view, or attempt to bypass security or access controls.
- Submit false visit, mileage, payroll or form information.
- Share patient or staff information outside authorized purposes.
- Upload malicious code, or interfere with or overload the Service.
- Copy, resell or reverse engineer the Service.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design and content, is owned by or licensed to HSIM. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers, such as hosting, email, mapping and electronic health record services, described in our Privacy Policy. HSIM is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
9. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Suspension and deactivation
HSIM may suspend or deactivate accounts, including when employment or engagement ends or these Terms are violated. You may request account deletion as described on our Account deletion page.
11. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, HSIM will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
